Michael Bass
With over 15 years of business development and marketing experience, Michael brings an in-depth, client-driven approach to Forensic, deepening our relationships and collaboration with industry partners to elegantly meet the needs of our clients. Prior to joining Forensic, Michael served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a local mid-sized general contracting firm that primarily focused on remediation repair services.

After graduating from the University of Oregon and bypassing law school for a very non-lucrative, yet incredibly fulfilling stint as a drummer in a rock band, Michael landed on his feet as the part-owner of a small design firm in Portland. There, he honed his marketing and design skills, and launched his career by working with clients from around the world, including the likes of Heineken and Amazon.

Zac Blodget
When it comes to green building technology Zac Blodget will forever hold the title of designer and developer for the first LEED Platinum home in Portland. But the opportunity to be first in a progressive city wasn’t what drew Zac to Portland 7 years ago. He realized while he was always on a plane to get somewhere fun, why not live somewhere that has it all. Since moving here Zac has also been a consultant on a number of Certified Passive Houses and recently acted as the professional engineer as well as assisted in designing the building envelope of a home that's attempting to meet Cascadia's Living Building Challenge. A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue, a P.E. license, and over 10 years of work experience and an enthusiasm for solving problems made Zac the ideal candidate to fill the position as Forensic’s newest Building Science Consultant.
